Video Podcasts

Some podcasts publish video instead of audio. Pinepods marks an episode as video when its feed gives a video/… enclosure; nothing needs setting up.

• Web and desktop: open the full-screen player while a video episode plays and the video shows where the cover art would be. Progress, speed and "played" work as they do for audio.
• Mobile: the apps play the episode's sound only.
• Podcasts page: video podcasts show a TV icon on their episode count.

Video episodes download like any other episode.

YouTube channels are different: Pinepods downloads their audio only, so they play as audio everywhere.
