Android Auto
The Android app works with Android Auto. Install it from the Google Play Store, IzzyOnDroid or Obtainium, sign in to your server, and connect your phone to the car. Pinepods appears with the other media apps.
The media browser shows:

You can also search by voice or from the car's search button.
The car's controls, the steering-wheel buttons and the notification controls all control the same playback. Skipping forward and back uses the Fast-forward interval and Rewind interval from the app's Settings.
Download episodes before a drive (see Downloads) so playback doesn't depend on mobile signal.
